About Us

The Eternal Valor Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate and assist in the creation and management of scholarships, charities and events in order to honor the memory of deceased veterans. Through the establishment of scholarships we ensure the timeless memory of our fallen comrades.

The Foundation was initially created by five Marine Corps Infantry Officers in 2008 to honor the memory of 1st Lieutenant Shaun M. Blue and 2nd Lieutenant James J. Cathy. The Foundation continues to grow as additional scholarships and endowments are created to honor those that have fallen in support of combat operations around the world.

The Foundation's primary focus is to provide the framework for the creation and solicitation of scholarships in order to allow families, friends, and loved ones to create and manage scholarships and charities for their deceased veterans. Rather than have perspective donors make donations to enormous charity funds that provide little accountability, the Eternal Valor Foundation strives to provide a collection of individual scholarship funds with specific goals; allowing donors to have accountability of their money and its ultimate destination.

While the foundation is still in its initial phases of development, with time and continued growth the Foundation hopes to expand its operations to include scholarship dinners, annual golf tournaments, and road races. The Foundation is always looking for volunteers to assist in the expansion of our cause.
